Cyprus moved Poland to category B

According to the Ministry of Health, Cyprus moved Poland from category A to category B and Portugal from category C to category B.

The new classification will come into effect on August 14, which means that all B-category passengers must submit a COVID-19 negative test made 72 hours before their departure to Cyprus.

Cypriot nationals and their spouses, nationals legally residing in Cyprus and passengers falling into the Vienna Convention category may take the test at the airport upon arrival.

Passengers who are unable to be tested in their countries of departure (laboratories do not perform Covid-19 tests) may also undergo testing in Cyprus.

Passengers are responsible for the cost of the test and must remain in self isolation until the results are known.
