Cyprus is still in the heat of August
Thursday will be mostly good sunny weather with variable cloudiness, which will appear in the afternoon.
The temperature will rise to + 39C in the central part of the island and to +31C in the mountains. Around +32C will be on the west coast and up to +34C will show the column thermometer in all other coastal areas.
The wind will be alternating and weak in the morning, and during the day over the sea it will gain strength and become moderate, and in some places strong.
The island fire department warns that the danger of forest fires is now extremely high and asks the islanders to be extremely careful with fire.
