This morning, the highest levels of dust in the air were recorded in Zigi (142.8 micrograms per cubic meter), Limassol (113.5 mg/m3) and Nicosia (107 mg/m3). At the same time, the health-safe indicator should not exceed 50 micrograms per cubic meter of air.
Lower dust levels were recorded in Paralimni (66.2 mg/m3) and Paphos (60.5 mg/m3). No air measurements could be taken in Larnaca, where the equipment stopped working.
