Cyprus has a yellow warning due to the heat
The Cyprus Department of Meteorology issued a new yellow warning for extreme high temperature for today.
The warning is valid from 11:00 am until 17:00 local on Wednesday.
The maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 40 degrees Celsius inland, the Department said.
