Cyprus downgraded 6 countries and raised one

On Monday, the Ministry of Health announced that the entry requirements for travelers from seven countries will be changed again. The new list will come into force on September 24.

Canada and Norway will be moved from category A to category B from Thursday, which means that all arrivals will have to show a negative result for coronavirus, made no later than 72 hours.

Austria, Slovenia, Portugal and Switzerland will move from category B to category C. This means that only Cypriot citizens and residents of the island will be able to come to the country. They will have to pass the COVID-19 test twice (upon arrival and two days before the end of self-isolation) and spend 14 days in self-isolation.

The only country with an increase in the rating will be Serbia. Its Ministry of Health in Cyprus has moved from category C to category B.

Everyone who arrives in Cyprus will also need to fill out an online entry permit at https://cyprusflightpass.gov.cy/.
