Cyprus awaits Russian tourists from 1 April

Tourists from Russia will be able to fly to Cyprus from 1 April, according to Savvas Perdios, head of the Cypriot Tourism Ministry.

Russians will have to undergo two PCR tests for coronavirus – one within three days before departure, the second upon arrival on the island.

“I hope that this year will be better than last and that Russian tourists will return to Cyprus. From April 1 we will reopen the Russian market, launch direct flights from Russia, and tourists will be able to come to us without going through quarantine,” Perdios said. The official promised Russians a “safe holiday with the observance of all anticovid protocols”.
