On 22 March, the Cypriot Ministry of Health updated the colour coding of countries worldwide in terms of epidemiological safety, in force since 1 March. The changes will come into force on 25 March.
Not much has changed from the previous version: Ireland has moved from the red group to orange, Norway and Denmark from orange to red. Russia, Belarus and Ukraine still remain in the “grey” zone from which it is impossible to travel to Cyprus for tourism purposes.
Recall that last week, the head of the Cypriot tourism ministry Savvas Perdios announced the opening of Cyprus to Russian tourists from 1 April and promised that Russia will be moved to a category no lower than “red”.
