A 54-year-old hairdresser in the Cypriot capital will be charged with non-compliance with self-imposed isolation and spreading coronavirus infection, according to Reporter.
Last Saturday, the man, knowing that he tested positive for the coronavirus, still showed up at his salon in Nicosia, where, in addition to him, worked three other employees, and began to serve customers.
Meanwhile, knowing his status, the hairdresser was obliged to remain in his home self-isolation, take the test for COVID-19 again and wait for negative results. Now he has been prosecuted for violating the regime prescribed by the authorities, and everyone who came into contact with him will have to be isolated and tested for coronavirus.
