Classes in public schools will begin on September 14
Pupils will not go to school on Monday by decision of the Ministry of Education. According to the Ministry of Education, the schools will open on September 14.
Education Minister Prodromos Prodromou said that after the meeting it was decided to postpone classes by one week because of the heat.
“We make this decision because of the heat, high humidity and dust in the atmosphere. All educational organizations and parent associations have consulted and agreed to make this decision”.
