Burglars robbed a Chinese woman from Chloraka of 10,000 euros and an expensive watch
In Paphos, police are investigating the theft of a large sum of money and an expensive watch from a local resident, a visitor from China. The total amount of damage is 30,000 euros.
A 39-year-old Chinese woman, a permanent resident of Chloraka, reported a burglary – unknown persons broke into her house when no one was there and stole a bag containing €10,000 in €100 bills and a ladies’ watch worth €20,000. The expensive watch was not insured.
As it turned out, the criminals gained entry into the house by breaking an aluminum sliding window in the basement. The police are still investigating.
