Burglars in Paphos steal €42,000 worth of loot and an air gun

Police in Paphos are investigating another major theft as burglars stole a Chloraka resident’s watch and cash worth €42,000 and also grabbed a pneumatic gun.

The homeowner complained to police that on Monday unidentified people broke into his home and stole two expensive watches worth around €30,000, €12,000 in cash and a €200 air gun.

Police officers examined the crime scene and found that the burglars broke into the house by breaking a locked kitchen window. The house was not equipped with an alarm system and the video surveillance system was found to be inoperable. The investigation is ongoing.
