Police in Limassol are investigating another burglary – this time a motorbike and a double bass were stolen from a house, according to Reporter.

A resident complained to law enforcers that some people had broken into the house where his late father lived and stolen a motorbike worth €2,500 and musical instruments, including a double bass valued at €1,000. Police launched an investigation and found advertisements on the internet with photos of some of the stolen items – so they came across the alleged perpetrators, men aged 37 and 45.

The house of the youngest of the suspects was searched and a stolen contrabass was recovered. However, the man himself was not at home and was reported missing.
A motorbike, a guitar amplifier and a piano were found in an open area outside his partner’s house. The 45-year-old man has been arrested.

The police are still investigating.
