British-Cypriot NEMESIS exercises take place in Cyprus

As part of the joint exercise, the flagship of the Royal Navy – HMS Albion will conduct the exercise together with the Cypriot Navy over the next month.

British High Commissioner Steven Lilly said that “this is the largest deployment of Royal Navy ships in history in Cyprus, and for the first time the British and Cypriot armed forces will be conducting the exercise together on Cypriot soil”.

Two vessels, HMS ALBION, RFA LYME BAY and two Wildcat helicopters will participate in the NEMESIS exercise on October 14. There will also be several training sessions with the National Guard and Commando Marines this month.
