The day before, police and pyrotechnicians were forced to re-enter the insurance company’s office on Kennedy Avenue in Nicosia. For the second time in two days, they received a report of an explosive device planted there, reports Reporter.
Residents of nearby houses could again observe a police cordon, fire department and working dogs at the entrance of the same insurance company on February 18.
Recall that a day earlier, law enforcement officials received a similar report of an explosive device and found a homemade bomb with a remote detonation device near the office. Reportedly, the detonator did not go off because the “authors” failed to correctly assemble their design and activate it from a safe distance.
