Today, a Turkish delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister, Ambassador Sedat O’Neill, will visit Moscow. This is reported by RBC agency, citing information from the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
The report says that Turkish diplomats will discuss important regional issues related to Libya and Syria with their Russian counterparts in the Russian capital.
In June, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu planned to visit Turkey, but the negotiations were postponed. Russian ministers were supposed to discuss the situation in Libya with Turkish Defence Minister Hulusi Akar.
Earlier, Turkish President Recep Erdogan said that the fighting in Libya is led by Russia’s top military officials. After that the information was refuted by the Russian side.
