A new list of countries to be accepted by Cyprus will come into force on August 1

The Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday a revised list of countries from which Cyprus will accept passengers. It will take place on Saturday, August 1.

As announced earlier, the UK has been moved from C to B and Georgia from B to A. In addition, Bulgaria and Algeria are currently being moved from B to C.

Category A includes:
Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Estonia, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Georgia, Japan, Canada, New Zealand and South Korea.

Category B:
Belgium, France, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Netherlands, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Andorra, Monaco, Vatican City, San Marino, Australia, Morocco, Rwanda, Thailand, Tunisia, Uruguay and China.

All passengers arriving from B-category countries must submit a negative COVID-19 test result taken at least 72 hours before departure.

All arriving on the island must obtain permission from https://cyprusflightpass.gov.cy/ within 24 hours before their departure for Cyprus.
