A motorcycle splits in half and the driver dies in an accident near Limassol
On Saturday morning, a road accident occurred between the villages of Capillo and Agios Mamas, when a pickup truck and a motorcycle collided at high speed. It is reported that the impact split the motorcycle in two, the 37-year-old driver was thrown to the pavement, and he died of his injuries on the spot, despite his helmet and protection.
According to AlphaNews, the 86-year-old driver of the pickup wanted to turn onto a dirt road to get to his garden and drove into the oncoming lane. He and his 86-year-old wife, who was riding in the passenger seat, were also injured in the accident and were hospitalized at Limassol Central Hospital.
