A group of Cypriot students were sent to self-isolation

On Friday, September 18, a whole class of schoolchildren was sent to self-isolation. This happened after one of the teachers was diagnosed with coronavirus. In the next two weeks, children will be studying remotely.

A music teacher turned out to be one of the 10 teachers who had been diagnosed with COVID-19 the day before, on September 17. The teacher worked at several gymnasiums in the Acropolis District (Nicosia) and in the village of Frenaros.

The classes where he taught have already been disinfected. At present, Health Ministry staff are tracking the teacher’s contacts. On Monday, the schoolchildren will start studying remotely.
