Doctors in Larnaca were accused of negligence after the patient’s death
In Larnaca, police are investigating a medical negligence case against doctors at a local general hospital after a patient died under the knife of a surgeon.
A 42-year-old man sought medical attention because of severe abdominal pain. After the examination, it was decided to perform a surgical operation on him – but in the process, the patient had a heart attack and died, despite all the efforts of doctors.
The deceased’s family accused the doctors of criminal negligence. The exact cause of the patient’s death will be determined during the official autopsy.
