Vaccination of the 64+ age group, the next stage of the vaccination campaign against coronavirus, begins in Cyprus. It should be recalled that, in accordance with the Ministry of Health’s plan, the first to receive the vaccine are members of professions with a high risk of infection and citizens over the age of 80, and then the target audience is gradually “getting younger”.
From 8:00 a.m. on April 1st to 7:00 p.m. on April 4th Cypriots aged 64 years and above will be able to sign up for their first vaccination through the vaccination portal. There will be 17,814 appointments available at vaccination points across the country.
The Ministry of Health specifies that all three EU-licensed products available today – AstraZeneca, Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech – can be vaccinated.
