Uninvited uniformed guests turned up at a foreigner’s birthday party in Limassol and fined the birthday boy, guests and the restaurant where the party was held for violating health ministry decrees, according to Reporter.
Police paid a visit to a Limassol restaurant and caught 10 foreigners in the middle of a birthday party. Three other customers were seated at a separate table.
Each guest at the restaurant was fined €300 and the owner was fined €1,500.
It should be noted that as part of the fight against the spread of the coronavirus infection, Cypriot public catering establishments are forbidden to serve customers in the halls – only food and non-alcoholic beverages can be sold takeaway and with delivery.
Recall that recently, also in Limassol, a restaurant and its customers and a cafe with football fans were fined for violations of health ministry decrees.
