There was a scuffle at a Larnaca hospital last night involving nursing staff, friends of an incoming patient and police officers, according to Reporter.

The three young men, who brought their injured friend to the hospital, had an argument with the staff for unclear reasons. They beat the nurses and resisted police officers on duty at the facility who were trying to stop the commotion.

Two of the brawlers escaped, while a third – a 34-year-old drunken man, who most zealously attacked the law enforcement officers – was detained. Police are looking for the rest of the participants in the scuffle.
