Third consecutive day in Cyprus with an orange warning from the heat
Meteorologists predict that on Friday in Cyprus, the air temperature will rise to + 43C. The authorities are announcing an “orange” warning because of the heat for the third day in a row.
The temperature reached + 42C last Thursday and will last for several more days. In this heat, people with poor health are advised to stay indoors, especially during the hottest hours from 11 to 17.
On Saturday and Sunday the temperature will drop slightly, but will remain above the average for this time of year.
