There will be a Ministry of Culture in Cyprus
The Ministry of Culture will appear in the Republic of Cyprus. This decision was taken by the country’s Cabinet of Ministers. Until now, the Ministry of Education and Culture has been a single agency. Soon it will be two separate structures.
According to the Minister of Education Prodromos Prodromou, the Government will soon prepare a bill to this effect.
Now Cyprus has the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth. There are also three sub-ministries: Tourism, Speaking and Innovation.
We hope that the appearance of the Ministry of Culture in Cyprus will increase the number of interesting cultural and creative events and projects.
