As of today the second phase of the relaxation of the restrictive measures against the spread of the coronavirus infection has started in Cyprus.
All stores and malls in the country will open – but playgrounds, food courts, restaurants, bowling areas in the malls will not work yet.
Theaters and cinemas (with attendance limited to 50 people), museums and archaeological parks will resume their work.
Temples will open the doors for wishing to visit divine services – for a maximum of 50 believers at a time.
Elementary school students (first through sixth grades) and high school graduates, as well as technical college students, will return to study offline.
Non-contact outdoor sports can now be practiced in groups of four plus a coach.
Four people are now allowed to visit, and there’s no need to be related.
Curfew from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and SMS requesting permits to leave the house remain in effect for now. Catering still does not serve guests – only take-out and delivery. Nightclubs, entertainment centers and discos do not work, mass events and demonstrations are prohibited.
