“Russian Wave” radio station was broadcasted for the first time on February 1, 2006 in Cyprus. Everything started from a cozy office on the seafront Limassol and a team of 4 people.
Perhaps no one could have imagined at the time that it was this project would be the beginning of the history of the media holding, which today includes 6 successful directions, and a team of 50 people.
By 2021, Russian Wave Media Group united under its wings: a franchise of the most popular Russian-speaking radio station Russian Radio, an international franchise of Radio Energy (NRJ), the English-language retro radio of Limassol and Paphos – Viva FM, intellectual club “60 Seconds”, online ticketing service “Easy Tickets” and a race for conscious car owners “AutoQuest”.
A lot has happened during the 15 years of the media holding’s existence.
Gradually the staff of the team expanded, the airwaves changed, hundreds of creative ideas and plans have appeared, which were always implemented, even in the time of crisis. Well-coordinated work and clear understanding of the company’s goals has lead to successful results that are summed up by the media group’s team on its 15th anniversary.
