Road maintenance of lighting will take place on the highway Paphos – Limassol.

They will begin at 9:00 on Friday, September 25, and will continue until 13:00 on the same day. The work will be carried out on sections from the Conia traffic circle to Petra-to-Romiu, including exits. At this time, the high speed lanes of the motorway will be closed in both directions, and the traffic will be transferred to the slow lane.

Also, the Department of Public Works reports that in Strovolos (Nicosia) from 16:00 on Saturday, September 26, and until 20:00 on Sunday, September 27, at the intersection of Avenue Atalassa, G. Paraskewaidi (former Acropolis) and Joseph Xyosif will work a road brigade.

For the time being, the road brigade will work:
– Right-hand traffic from G. Paraskewaidi Avenue (formerly Acropolis) to Atalassa Avenue (towards the Water Board) will be prohibited and traffic will be allowed along adjacent roads.

– Right-way traffic from Atalassa Avenue to Paraskewaidi Avenue (former Acropolis) shall also be prohibited. A detour will be made through Trooditisis Street (fire station).

The city’s traffic police ask drivers to be more attentive and follow temporary road signs and instructions.
