The President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades, accompanied by the official representative of the government Kyriakos Koushos, will arrive today in Brussels to participate in the special European Council, which will take place on October 1 and 2.
Among the issues to be discussed at the Council summit are: international relations, in particular relations with Turkey and the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean; relations with China; the situation in Belarus; the issues of maintaining a single union market, industrial policy and digital transformation.
On the sidelines of the summit, President Anastasiades plans to meet with European Council President Charles Michel.
