Limassol resident to be charged for possession of 35 kilos of cannabis and three quintals of pyrotechnics
The 35-year old Limassol resident was arrested and taken into custody – 35 kilos of marijuana and more than 300 kilos of fireworks were seized from him and his alleged accomplices, reports Reporter.
Drugs and about 200 kg of fireworks were found in a car, which police detained in the city after receiving a tip-off on the fact of illegal trafficking of the above-mentioned goods. This was followed by a search of a warehouse in Limassol, where approximately 100 kg of pyrotechnics were found.
A total of four men aged 33, 35, 38 and 43 were detained in the case. All of them are now in custody pending the outcome of the investigation and trial.
