The Kissonerga Community Council has allocated 70,000 euros to support hotels and tourist organizations, said the head of the council, Giorgos Stylianou, on Thursday.

This amount will be used to provide a 25 per cent discount on waste collection for businesses affected by quarantine – hotels, apartments, tourist villas and restaurants. In addition, a 25 percent discount on the tax on the rental of tourist villas and apartments will be provided.

All contracts for beach and water sports management will be extended for another two years.

According to the head of the council, almost all hotels in the area are already open and ready to receive local and foreign guests. Almost all restaurants and bars are operating in the same mode.
