The August heat gradually began to recede. Today, Cypriot forecasters predict variable cloudiness. In the afternoon of September 25, it may rain with thunderstorms both in the Troodos Mountains and in the interior of the island, it may hail.

The coolness will not be long, already on Sunday the southern winds will bring the heat and sand from the deserts of Africa to Cyprus.

On Friday in Nicosia and Limassol air will warm up to +34C, in Larnaca, Aya Napa and Polis the temperature will rise to +32C, in Paphos to +29C, in Troodos the thermometer column will show no higher than +19 degrees.

In the afternoon, there may be short rains and thunderstorms. On Saturday, the probability of rain is low. But the wind may intensify.

On Sunday, temperatures are expected to rise above average due to southern winds from Africa.

But next week forecasters still predict temperatures to fall to an average for this time of year.
