All high school students in Cyprus will be back in classrooms by March 8 – a week earlier than expected. The withdrawal of grammar school and lyceum students from remote to offline classes will take place in two phases, SigmaLive reports.
On March 1, first and second-year pupils from lyceums and technical colleges will return to their desks. The second phase is scheduled for March 8, when gymnasiums will be opened.
It should be noted that teaching staff must be tested for coronavirus before the start of the off-line classes and thereafter the results must be regularly updated. For pupils, a recent covid certificate is desirable but not compulsory.
