The President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakelaropoulos will arrive in Cyprus on an official visit on Monday, September 21.
The meeting is linked to the urgent need for the two states to coordinate actions to protect their sovereign rights.
The Greek president also added that the Greek and Cypriot governments would discuss the possibility of resuming negotiations to solve the Cyprus problem within the framework of the United Nations.
“We are engaged in diplomacy and fully respect good neighborly relations. However, we are ready to resist and respond to any provocation of the other side at any moment,” Sakelaropoulos stressed.
