Cyprus road transport market lost 20% of cargo turnover due to coronavirus
Transportation of goods by road in Cyprus in the second quarter of 2020 decreased by 20% compared to the same period in 2019 – reported the Statistics Service of Cyprus.
Statisticians comment that the transportation of goods in the period from April to June affected by measures to curb COVID-19, operating on the island.
The total weight of goods transported from and to Cyprus has also decreased by 18% compared to the same period last year.
