Five COVID-19 cases were recorded on Monday in Cyprus from a total of 1,504 tests, the authorities announced. Therefore, the total number of confirmed cases has reached 949.
Announcing the results at a press conference Dr Leontios Kostrikis, member of the Scientific Committee on the pandemic said that three people who were repatriated to Cyprus out of 160, tested positive, one person tested positive out of 104 tests carried out by the Microbiological Labs of the General Hospitals and one person tested positive out of 616 tests carried out in the context of a programme for testing 10,000 employees at hairdressing salons, barbershops, tattoo studios and restaurants.
