For the upcoming World Toilet Day, which is celebrated on November 19, Eurostat has prepared interesting statistics, creating a ranking of European countries by the number of well-appointed (located inside the living quarters and equipped with flushing) toilets. Cyprus was among the leaders of this list.
Only 0.5% of Cypriot households, according to Eurostat, are not equipped with comfortable toilets. France and Austria have the same figure. At the top of the list is Sweden, where the statistic counted 0% do not meet the requirements of bathrooms. The Scandinavian country shares first place with Iceland, Norway and Switzerland.
Closes the list Romania, with an index of 24.2% far from its closest competitor – Bulgaria (13.7%).
