The leaders of the three countries, who gathered in Nicosia for the 8th Greece-Cyprus-Egypt summit, took a firm stance against Turkey’s provocations in the region.
Also on the eve of the summit, Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis spoke during a bilateral meeting they held at the Presidential Palace in Nicosia before the 8th trilateral Cyprus-Greece-Egypt summit.
Anastasiades and Mitsotakis expressed hope that the new Turkish Cypriot leader, Ersin Tatar, will not continue negotiations on the Cyprus settlement from the position he had held so far.
