The Cyprus Statistical Service calculated the average gross monthly salary in the country and found that at the end of the third quarter, it increased by 2% year-on-year.
The average Cypriot earned 1,907 euros per month between July and September 2020 – up from 1,869 in the third quarter of 2019.
Meanwhile, the average gross monthly earnings of men in the reporting period were estimated at 2,029 euros and women at 1,758. Compared to the third quarter of 2019, it increased by 0.8% for men and 3.7% for women.
