This was stated by Energy, Trade and Industry Minister Natasa Pilides on Wednesday: “Of course, the end of the program will have an impact on the economy,” she said and added that “both her ministry and other ministries are in the process of evaluating and launching new schemes, which we believe will lead to economic recovery”.
She highlighted the Ministry of Commerce schemes to support the digital economy. As well as an accelerated licensing scheme for companies, which will soon be launched to facilitate the conduct or opening of new business in Cyprus.
“Integrated planning will give new impetus to our business and the economy as a whole, and we are open to proposals to shape our plans accordingly,” she said.
