On Wednesday, heavy rains spilled in many parts of Cyprus, with thunderstorms and hail in some places. This weather led to flooding of city streets, especially in low places.
In particular, according to social networks, downpours, storms and cars “floating” in the streets were observed today in Nicosia and Larnaca. However, Limassol residents comment that, despite all the forecasts promised by the forecasters, they have not yet seen heavy rainfall.
Recall that earlier meteorologists issued a “yellow” warning about individual thunderstorms, accompanied by precipitation up to 35 mm per hour.
