In the past 24 hours, according to the Cyprus police, 1,030 checks have been carried out. As a result, 11 establishments and 21 individuals were fined for failure to comply with the Covid-19 containment measures.
In Nicosia, the police conducted 121 checks and fined 3 people and 4 institutions.
In Limassol, 7 people were fined during 201 inspections.
In Larnaca, after 243 checks, 2 establishments and 2 citizens were reported as offenders.
In Paphos, after 109 inspections, 5 organizations and 1 person were fined.
In Famagusta, 180 checks were carried out and 8 offenders were registered.
In Morpha, 176 checks were carried out and there were no reports of offenders.
