A pub in Larnaca turned into a gambling den and a breeding ground for infections
Last weekend police on a tip-off went to a local pub in Larnaca – and found dice gamblers there.
Not only did they violate the law by gambling outside the territory of the casino – they also ignored decrees of the Ministry of Health concerning the prevention of the spread of coronavirus infection.
As a result, ten people were fined on the spot for gathering in a pandemic environment, and they will be summoned to court later for gambling with money. Together with the players, the owner of the premises will also be responsible for the outrage.
