A police officer kissed a colleague on the cheek and was charged with harassment
In Nicosia, a police officer has been suspended from duty for kissing his colleague on the cheek, PhileNews reported.
The event took place last Monday – the police officer wrote a report about it to the management. A disciplinary investigation has been initiated.
Police Chief Stelios Papatheodorou said that inappropriate behavior by officers is unacceptable, and cases of sexual harassment on duty will be thoroughly investigated and eradicated.
