The staff and students of the kindergarten in Agios Dometios area in Nicosia were evacuated this morning after a message was received that there was a bomb in the building.

The message was received by the kindergarten via e-mail from an unknown person. Teachers and children were immediately taken outside, and police and bomb squad officers arrived on the scene to search the building.
In the end it turned out that the bomb threat was a fake – no dangerous devices were found in the kindergarten. The police are actively searching for the “cyber-terrorist” in order to bring him to justice.
