15 breakwaters for 10 million euros will appear in Paphos
In Paphos, 15 breakwaters will be installed. They will stretch along the coast between Paphos municipal baths and the tourist beach of Geroskipou.
The breakwaters are considered to be an optimal and ecological solution to protect the beaches from destruction and sand washout.
During the presentation of the project, the Mayor of Pafos, Fedonas Fedonos, announced the construction cost of 10 million euros.
Currently, the municipality of the city is preparing the necessary documents for the tender. It will be announced by the end of 2020.
