On Tuesday, the Cypriot army, in cooperation with the headquarters of France and Israel, will conduct a one-day air exercise off the coast of Paphos.
It will feature two French fourth generation Rafal multirole fighters, a French Air Force transport aircraft and four Israeli Air Force helicopters.
According to Philenews, the French planes will stay at the military base in Paphos for a while as they patrol the Eastern Mediterranean region.
The Israeli helicopters will return to their own base late Tuesday night.
It is also reported that Cyprus and Israel have planned a joint major exercise in September.
