Dozens of fines for violations of Covid-19 regulations were issued last weekend.
In all, over 100 people and 49 businesses have been fined during several thousand police checks in Cyprus in recent days.
Cyprus Police have conducted 3,473 inspections of establishments island-wide in the last three days.
The raids have identified 117 offenders who did not wear masks in places where their use is mandatory. In addition, 49 different businesses were fined for failure to comply with the Pandemic Management Order.
In addition, the port police conducted 81 inspections and reported two offenders.
A further nine people were fined at Larnaca airport and six at Paphos airport.
In the past 24 hours, the police have also fined a beach bar in Larnaca and a hotel in Paphos. According to the police, the owner of the beach bar will have to pay 8,000 euros for not complying with the regulations and the hotel in Paphos 4,000 euros.
