The World Health Organization (WHO) is concerned about the increasing incidence of COVID 19 following the easing of quarantine in several countries.
“As for the increase in the number of cases, yes, we are seeing it all over the world, not only in Europe. When quarantine is eased, when social distance measures are weakened, people sometimes take it as: Great, it’s over,” said WHO Representative Margaret Harris at a UN briefing in Geneva this Friday.
“But it’s not over. And it’s not over until the virus disappears around the world,” she said, calling on protesters in the United States not to forget about precautions during demonstrations.
