The Federal Air Transport Agency issued 102 permits for flights to Larnaca and Paphos from 27 Russian cities – these are the results of a meeting of the interdepartmental commission at the Russian Ministry of Transport, held a day before.

The following carriers received permits: Aeroflot, Russia, Pobeda, Siberia, Ural Airlines, Ikar, Azur Air, Red Wings, Nordwind.
The cities from which their flights will be able to fly: Barnaul, Belgorod, Vladivostok, Volgograd, Voronezh, Ekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Kaluga, Kemerovo, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Mineralnye Vody, Omsk, Orenburg, Perm, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, St. Petersburg, Saratov, Sochi, Tyumen, Ufa and Chelyabinsk.

It should be noted that the issuance of permits is the carrier’s right to perform flights, which it will be able to use when regular air services between Russia and Cyprus are resumed. So far this has not happened – negotiations between the parties are still ongoing.
