Limassol police officers searched the flat of a 42-year-old woman and found that she had turned her home into both a tobacco warehouse and a hairdressing salon, according to Reporter.
During the search police found 122 packages of cigarettes and leaf tobacco, not all of which had the necessary markings. The tobacco products were seized as evidence.
A pity inspection of the flat revealed that the landlady had set up a hairdressing salon there – without a licence.
The case was settled out of court – the woman chose to pay 1,800 euros in fines for the offences straight away.
